Rapprochement Eschatology Summary & Chart

The Rapprochement Eschatology Chart has been prepared as a summary review of the Covenantal Eschatology Revealed study, as well as The Israel of God study. The intent here is to show some of the decisive aspects of this revealed relationship between the Creator God and His creation--man.

This chart commences with the beginning of time itself. Here, Gen.4: places us outside of the Garden of Eden--where our Creator God sovereignly chooses the sacrifice of Abel over that of Cain’s.

We also see God establishing the Everlasting Covenant with Father Abraham: A gracious Covenant between God and man that would ultimately reach into each and every nation of the world.

As God reveals the fulfillment of His Covenant with father Abraham, we see the predicted and confirmed coming of Jesus Christ as the one and only Messiah.

The central portion of this chart shows the intricate details that surround the progressive fulfillment of God’s Covenant promise to Abraham; this Year of Jehovah’s Favor; this dispensation of the grace of God; this Kingdom age.

We must see that God, even from the very beginning of time itself, has been personally gathering His peoples to Himself. God has always supplied that necessary measure of faith, which has surely brought all of the faithful into this blessed relationship. Salvation has always been decided on the basis of God’s grace alone, and Jesus must be seen here as the full manifestation of that grace. God is definitely over all, and in all.

It is at the very beginning of the Day of the Lord, that God brings this central segment to an abrupt conclusion. This is that sure end of The Year of Jehovah’s favor, when God will send His angels to gather up all of those who heard the voice of Jesus; all of those elect saints who are in Christ.

This section which contains The Day of the Lord, actually shows us a two-fold millennium as we are moved through this "Great Day of God".

First, we see the resurrected Church of Jesus Christ (all those who are in Christ) experiencing the joys of their Heavenly presence with their Lord and their God.

Second, we see the continued tribulations for the earthly populations--as God will pour out His final plagues upon this ungodly world; wrath and indignation’s are determined.

                   -----------------------

Then following The Battle of Armageddon and the final resurrection and judgment (all of which occurs at the conclusion of The Day of the Lord), we move on to the end of this chart--which would represent eternity with its New Heavens and its New Earth.

This color code has also been added, so that we might more easily follow the flow of these important events along the time line of this chart.

"Blue-The book of Revelation." is intended to point out the specific reference passages within this study, which have been extracted from the Book of the Revelation.

"Green-The Kingdom of God." highlights the fulfillment of God’s promise to Father Abraham. This Covenant of Grace that God instituted with Abraham so long ago would find its culmination and its fulfillment in the blessed Seed--Jesus Christ. Gal.3:16

"Purple-God’s Covenant peoples." would indicate that God has always been doing the calling when it comes to His people. If God was not actively preserving the posterity that would make up His collective peoples, God would have no peoples at all.

"Pink-God’s elect priestly line is fully manifested during the New Testament era." shows the hereditary line that God’s elect were to follow. This allows us to understand the manifold intent in God’s Everlasting Covenant that was made with Abraham and then with Isaac; That the line which constituted the elect priests of God, was ultimately to be gathered out of every kindred, tribe, tongue, and nation. This color also displays some of the many intricate details concerning the invisible Church of Jesus Christ. It shows the two-fold character of Christ’s Church that is evident during this year of Jehovah’s Favor: That the Covenant Church not only has a visible presence here on earth, it also has a parallel invisible presence in Heaven as well.

"Lt. Blue-The first resurrection; which is the Lord Jesus, and the resurrection of the living." reveals the intricate details that surrounds Christ’s priestly line that is being revealed during this dispensation of grace. That whenever a person hears the voice of Jesus, that person comes alive--they begin to live--their souls are immediately resurrected into a participatory role in Christ’s own resurrection. Understanding that this new state that has come with the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, is almost beyond comprehension or description. One example, is when the death of an elect saint occurs during this year of Jehovah’s Favor, this resurrected soul is promised an immediate residency in the Heavenlies, where they will live and reign with their Lord.

"Red-Satan and his dominion." organizes the Scriptures that follow Satan’s power and abode throughout the history of time—as well as the battle of Armageddon and God’s final judgments.

-The recapitulation of the book of Revelation-

There are three primary recapitulations, which cover two specific dispensational periods—the Year of Jehovah’s Favor and the Day of the Lord, to be observed: Rev.8:5; Rev.11:19; and Rev.16:18, 21. These passages describe the following symbols: voices, thunderings, lightnings, and a great earthquake--all of which are pointing forward to the Day of Lord: a protracted time period. Rev.4:5/Ex.19:16 define the voices, lightnings, and thunderings as the manifested presence of God. We would also understand that the seventh seal contains the seven trumpets; and the seventh trumpet contains the seven bowls; and that the seventh bowl contains all of God’s judgments and wrath: which will come upon this sad world. We might draw the following conclusions: 1. Rev.6:12-7:17 are explanatory comments for Rev.8:5. The great day of his wrath is come. 2. Rev.9:13-11:13 are explanatory comments for Rev.11:19. The hour of His judgment has come. 3. Rev.13:11-19:21 are explanatory comments for Rev.16:18, 21 In one hour your judgment has come. It would seem that these recapitulations are progressive in their content. Though they all have the Day of the Lord in common, each of these segments has its own unique character. Rev.6:12-7:17 is explaining the sealing and the gathering of the saints from this dispensation. Rev.9:13-11:13 explains the simultaneous activity of tribulations and salvation. Rev.13:11-19:21 explains the culmination of the last things: ending at the battle of Armageddon, then the last judgment.
