John Rice--After high school, I spent 3 years in the U.S. Army and afterwards attended New Mexico State University.
Later received a Master's degree in Engineering from University of Iowa where I met my wife.
Worked for several companies in the West and Midwest on a number of interesting projects, including Glen Canyon Dam in Arizona and Gateway Arch in St. Louis.
When my kids (6, so far) started school, I became self-employed in the steel fabrication business and have done that for the past 25 years.
Gave up the booze quite a few years ago. My main hobbies now are winning and taking night classes.
My advice to young people: 1) Obey your parents 2) Listen to your teachers 3) God to Copemich every Saturday night.
