PART TWO  ADDENDUM “G”

GRACE, GRACE, WONDERFUL GRACE

(A SYLLABUS-NKJV)

It would seem that whenever we attempt to bring ourselves into conformity to the Word of God, we immediately begin to sense the absolute need for God’s grace.  It should become evident at that time, that the total depravity of our nature is the basic reasoning behind this immediate necessity for God’s unlimited and unmerited grace.  We cannot begin to understand God’s grace, until we come to understand the total depravity of our own corrupt human nature.  Only then will we understand that God’s grace, which freely flows out through Christ's complete atonement upon the cross, always extends far beyond our widest expectations.

So for grace to be grace, it must stand by itself: unaided and unimpeded.

Our common salvation comes through the GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Acts 15:11 "But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ* we shall be saved in the same manner as they (God’s first peoples Israel)."

The GRACE of God is the true gospel, and/

The evangelized gospel is the visible manifestation of the GRACE of God.

Acts 20:24 "But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself,* so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

GRACE brings God’s justification to us through the reconciliation that is available through Christ’s atonement.

Romans 3:24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

  GRACE is complete within itself,

GRACE is a free gift from God, and

God’s GRACE covers all of our sins.

Romans 4:4-8 Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. ¶ But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works: "Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered; Blessed is the man to whom the LORD shall not impute sin."*

Gal 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed.

Hebrews 11:1 ¶ Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

v.16 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law (God’s first peoples Israel), but also to those (the New Testament covenant believers) who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.

Jesus is the only way for anyone to get to God’s Grace,

Christ’s faith is our only access into God’s Grace, and

Grace is the only place where anyone can stand and rejoice in God’s glory.

Romans 5:2 Through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Gal 5:4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

GRACE brings us the gift of righteousness and life eternal: where

God’s GRACE always exceeds the measure of our sin.

Romans 5:17 For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)

Romans 5:20-21 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We are completely covered by God’s GRACE: where

God’s Grace gives us complete absolution of sin.

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under grace.

Faith is given as a free gift from God: and the gift of Faith is given by God to every person by measure. Faith is the energy source that produces our individual development or growth in God's grace.

Romans 12:3 ¶ For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

Remember Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

God’s GRACE surrounds our various individual gifts: Where the measure of our faith determines the proportion of our various gifts.

Romans 12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;

Our individual labor for the Kingdom that can be visibly seen, is the evident manifestation of God’s GRACE that is working within us.  And recognizing the futility of our own efforts in this labor, we must be constrained from taking any of the credit.  Only then will we be able to give God the whole glory for all of the successes that we might experience.

1 Cor 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

God’s GRACE, in every circumstance, is all sufficient for us.

2 Cor 12:9 And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

GRACE is that secure abode provided by God, where we must actively seek to reside in.

Gal 1:6 ¶ I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel,

God’s GRACE is the instrument by which we are called.

Gal 1:15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me through His grace,

  GRACE is a Spiritual encounter.

Gal 6:18 Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

Redemption, forgiveness, and salvation are intimate attributes of God’s GRACE.

Eph 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Eph 2:5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

God’s GRACE is the instrument by which we are saved: Then FAITH is the conduit through which GRACE is delivered.

Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

GRACE is a specific dispensation in God’s table of time.

Eph 3:2 if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you,

GRACE is a gift that comes directly from the throne of God.

Eph 3:7-8 of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power. ¶ To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

Our good communication ministers God’s Grace to others.

Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

God’s GRACE is exactly the same for all.

The gospel of God’s GRACE is confirmed by our active defense of it.

Phil 1:7 just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of grace.

God’s GRACE was predestined to the elect before the worlds began.

2 Tim 1:9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,

God’s GRACE brings salvation to us all.

Titus 2:11 ¶ For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, (Christ Jesus)

God’s GRACE is the instrument of justification.

Titus 3:7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

GRACE reflects the essence of God.

GRACE extends the mercy of God.

GRACE is our only real help in time of need.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

The Holy Spirit of God brings God’s GRACE to each of us:

The Holy Spirit is the present manifestation of God’s GRACE.

Hebrews 10:29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?

  God’s GRACE was prophetic.

1 Peter 1:10 Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, (The New Testament covenant believers.)

The full manifestation of GRACE is predicted with Christ’s return.

1 Peter 1:13 ¶ Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

All saints are stewards of God’s abundant GRACE.

1 Peter 4:10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Our sanctification is visibly manifested when we demonstrate our growth in God’s GRACE.

2 Peter 3:18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever.

Amen.
